When USA Today shared the story of Copper and Pretty Boy on Facebook, their story went viral. Copper the goat was expecting her baby and her bestie, Pretty Boy volunteer to be responsible of support Copper.
The babies weren’t ready to come to see the life, but the duo weren’t in rush. The cat kept patience and wait for the babies with the mommy goat, she didn’t leave any second.
Time flew, Copper started to have contraction, Pretty Boy started massaging and comforting Copper. He companied with her through the ripples of pain with his gentle paws. Copper must has felt the loving, caring of her midwife.
It took a long period of time to wait for the moment babies come out. Thanks to her caring bestie, who always been her side through the spasms, little heads started emerging. Copper had given birth to 3 healthy babies, safely. She couldn’t have done it without Pretty Boy!
“Pretty Boy is now the new age goat midwife/masseur. Who says kitties can’t be multifaceted. Copper the goat is due to deliver babies any time now. Pretty Boy thinks he’s a midwife and is massaging Copper through her contractions trying to help Copper have her babies. Pretty Boy has been sleeping with, sitting on and massaging Copper since Copper was confined to a stall to prepare for her deliveries” – Their Facebook page wrote.
Cat rescue group Operation Fancy Free also wrote on Facebook: “The cat is a one-goat midwife – he is apparently ignoring all the other pregnant goats on the farm to devote all his attention to Copper.
Like her mother, the babies loved Pretty boy as much as her mother. They got an endless love from the midwife who helped and the first to welcome them into this amazing world.
