Bear was walking near a gas station in Trenton, New Jersey when a car һ.ı.ṭ him. The one who strüċk him fled and left him wait to ｄｉｅ in loneliness. Fortunately, someone at the gas station witnessed it and called the animal hospital where his current owner’s mother works. The owner, Katie, wrote on Instagram: “His left eye was ʙ.ʟ.o.o.ᴅ s.нoт and ｐａｉｎｆｕｌ and his right eye was completely ᴅ ᴇ м o ʟ ι s н ᴇ ᴅ. His former owner came in, identified him, said she would be back, and then never did. I don’t hold anything against his previous owners. I think she thought she was doing the right thing by leaving him in better care”.
The main problem is, the veterinarians couldn’t do anything without the owner’s permission, this made Bear waited in ᴘ.ᴀ.ι.ɴ for 3 days. Things went worse, Sarah, Katie’s mother, a vet works at that animal hospital, told the story to Katie then the two decided to help. They did anything to get custody of Bear and operated on Bear immediately.
Katie admitted: “It can be so hard when you have a dog with issues, but I swear it gets so much better and it is always worth it”, “For example, he wouldn’t walk unless he was between someone’s legs, he was terrified of cars, and new environments were hard for him.” But “with patience and understanding those obstacles were overcome and he runs through life with glowing confidence.”
Now, Bear is “the happiest sweetest pup” because he has the new forever home with two women love him to the moon and back. Bear is a prove of this truth: No matter what you have been through, you are worth of the best things. Don’t lose hope, keep chasing the Sun and leave our past behind.
